Kick streamer ‘Xenathewitch’ has been praised for helping a man to safety after he ended up on railway tracks.

Xena was streaming with her boyfriend and fellow content creator ‘dariusirl‘ on his Kick account when Darius captured the harrowing moment on camera.

The man, seen sitting on train tracks, was urged by passersby to “get out”, with Darius heard telling him, “Dude, there’s a train coming, bro.”

Despite this, the man remained where he sat and insisted “They’re going to kill me anyway” and that there was “no point.” It’s unknown who he was referring to, however, his claims didn’t stop those watching from intervening and ensuring he made it to safety.

To help coax the man, Xena offered money and assured him that everything would be ok as he repeatedly apologized.

“This is yours,” she said, as he took her hand and seemed ready to exit the tracks. When others came to help and began to cheer, however, the man backed up again and returned to where he had been seated — much to the crowd’s dismay.

Nonetheless, Xena didn’t give up and repeatedly told the man that he was “coming with [her]” and that “they don’t matter.” Finally, he accepted one of the many help hands held out to him and was pulled from the tracks.

As she had promised, Xena handed him money and told him to head to somewhere where he would be safer and “get off the subway.”

Viewers praised Xena for helping the man to safety, with one person writing, “Now this is the positivity and good news we need to see more of.” But the clip’s popularity was notably lower than other viral stories this year centered around “bad stuff” — and Xena was quick to point this out.

She reshared clips of the daring rescue on X (formerly Twitter) and responded to the situation, calling out people for favoring negative news.

“I love how [people] will only cover bad stuff. Not us literally saving someone from train tracks,” Xena wrote. “Now, had I coerced him into jumping in front of the tracks, that would be all over Twitter.”

Another viewer pointed out the same thing, writing, “Why is it Natalie Reynolds’s got so much news for the homeless woman and this is getting so little?”
