League of Legends players have become frustrated at a new “broken” double support item strategy that has emerged in Season 14.

The newest season for League of Legends has just begun. Season 14 has introduced a heap of new items, jungle changes, and map changes, shifting up the Rift in a massive way. Players are still learning the new patch, with many experimenting to find the optimal way to play the new update.

This is vitally important with the new item changes, which saw the Mythic system completely removed. Because of this, builds have become far more complex and open for every champion, who are no longer limited to rushing a Mythic item as soon as possible.

The item changes have caused some balancing issues for the developers, with many players claiming certain items are far too powerful for their own good. Now a new strategy has appeared, involving double support items that players have slammed as being “broken”.

“Double support item is beyond ridiculous right now,” the post claims.

Players have discovered that they can build the support item World Atlas as their second item. This item eventually transforms into Bloodsong, which grants a powerful effect that massively improves an ADCs damage.

“Blood song is broken, that’s pretty much it. You get an item lead and snowball,” one user argued.

Riot had already implemented a built-in fix for this issue, reducing the amount of gold players can gain from minions while building the item, but the gold generated by the item itself allows players to get back into the game regardless.

On top of this, the support item grants players the ability to ward, which massively improves a team’s ability to ward and control objectives, giving a once-limited utility class insane levels of team play.
