Truly unique buildNeed a second model to create a full pyramid
Incorporates myriad neat design elements to set the scene
Detailed landscape

This Architecture set allows you to transport yourself back in time to ancient Egypt. It will also make for a great souvenir once you’ve completed your travels to what is one of the most historic structures on the globe.

Although comprising not as many pieces as several other of the kits featured here, this kit’s brick count of 1476 is sufficient to keep you smiling during the assembly process. In addition, the latter is truly unique.

The set features a outer shell, which lifts off to reveal the (simplified) inside, replete with a depiction of a stone-moving system, of the brick-built pyramid. In addition, when viewed from the rear, this cross-section model provides you with a glimpse of the main tunnels and chambers.

However, it’s worth not that, as it is a cross-section build, you will need to purchase another one of these kits if you want to complete the full pyramid. Even so, it remains a great centerpiece, especially considering the set’s additional elements.

The set features the surrounding landscape. There are two small pyramids, a duo of mortuary temples, Sphinx statues, a workers’ village, and an obelisk. Completing the scene, a section of the Nile River, replete with two ancient boats, are also present.

The Statue of Liberty is one of the most iconic monuments in history. As such, accurately recreating this landmark in LEGO format is no easy task. However, it’s a feat achieved impressively by LEGO. The 17-inch-tall model looks brilliant.

Although not comprising as many pieces as the other sets featured here, each of this kit’s bricks clicks together to create an authentic replica. In addition, the building experience is rewarding. Assembling the pedestal might feel repetitive at times, though. However, the remaining sections of the build aren’t. It’s an intricate process, and the result is a beautiful display piece.

The model features authentic design elements. These include the statues raised arm, which holds the golden torch, the seven-ray crown, and tablet, held in the left arm. The robe of the model has also been made to recreate the original’s “flowing” design. The face could have been more detailed, though.
