There are a host of spectacular sets in LEGO’s Star Wars collection. However, which is best? We’ve rounded up the best LEGO Star Wars kits for adults of the galaxy far, far away.

LEGO’s Star Wars-inspired collection comprises myriad magnificent kits. Of course, the most spectacular of these were designed with adult Star Wars enthusiasts in mind, such as those in the Star Wars Collector Series.

So, what are the best LEGO Star Wars sets for fans of the galaxy far, far away aged 18 and up? Well, we’ve rounded up each of them and where you can buy them.

But first, what makes a LEGO Star Wars kit the best LEGO Star Wars set for adults? Well, there are aspects that need to be considered, starting with the completed build’s overall design. It has to be intricately detailed and reminiscent of the original model.

In addition, the kit must provide an immersive and, importantly, rewarding building experience. It should elicit a feeling of accomplishment.

But what about the playing experience? Well, of course, that has to be taken into consideration. However, grownups are busy and will most likely (and mostly) display it in their home or office. As such, to be one of the best LEGO Star Wars sets for adults, the kit must be worthy of centerpiece status. Thus, the latter was considered above the playing experience.

Comprising the most bricks (6785, to be precise) of any LEGO Star Wars kit on this list and featuring a host of authentic elements, the LEGO Star Wars AT-AT is a great set for collectors. Indeed, it is part of LEGO’s Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series. What’s more, it’s one of the LEGO sets with the most bricks.

Measuring 24.5 inches tall, 10 inches wide, and 28 inches deep, this set has room for a 40 minifigure Imperial army. You will have to find 31 others to join, though, as this set includes only nine minifigures. But that’s more than enough to relive the Battle of Hoth.

General Veers, a Snowtrooper Commander, and a quartet of Snowtrooper minifigures are present. There is also a duo of AT-AT drivers to pilot the All Terrain Armored Transport vehicle (yup, that’s what AT-AT stands for, if you didn’t know).

But who will go up against the army? Luke Skywalker, of course. A neat addition to this set, it comes with a hook to attach Luke’s line.

The kit is extremely detailed, inside and out. There are opening hatches, cannons with recoil action, rotating cannons, and a bomb-drop hatch. In addition, the set ships with a duo of speeder bikes and an E-Web heavy repeating blaster.

Additionally, with its adjustable head and legs, you can pose the LEGO Star Wars AT-AT to your heart’s extent. As such, it will undoubtedly make for a magnificent centerpiece, whether it’s displayed in your home or office.

This set is pricey, though. It’s one of the most expensive LEGO sets currently available.

Where to buy the LEGO Star Wars AT-AT

You can grab this kit from LEGO, Amazon, or Walmart. It is worth noting, however, that this is one of the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series sets retiring in 2024. So it’s best to get your hands on this model sooner rather than later.

The 6187-piece, LEGO-reimagined The Razor Crest is a spectacular display piece, especially next to your other LEGO Star Wars Collector Series sets. When completed, the brick-built ship measures nine inches tall, 19.5 inches wide, and 28 inches nose-to-tail.
