LEGO Icons Medieval Town Square finally available
LEGOInspired by a classic set from yesteryear, LEGO has finally released the LEGO Icons Medieval Town Square set. Here’s what you can expect.
Reimagining the LEGO Medieval Market set from 2009, LEGO has finally released the LEGO Icons Medieval Town Square. According to LEGO, “This highly requested theme will evoke cherished childhood moments with its updated architecture, intricate detail, and advanced construction techniques.”
Comprising 3304 pieces, the brick-built medieval town square promises to provide LEGO builders with an immersive and rewarding building experience. For those who can remember the original model, the latter is sure to be nostalgic, too. However, you’d have to be aged 18 and up to construct this medieval-times-inspired LEGO Icons set.
When all of this kit’s bricks have been clicked together, it measures 14 inches wide and four-and-a-half inches deep. The tallest building stands 10 inches tall.

But what structures are featured in this LEGO Icons set? Well, there are two. However, each opens up to reveal the detailed interiors of what’s inside. The latter includes a tavern, cheese factory, shield-painting workshop, woodworking shop, and a weaving workshop. There’s also the Broken Axes Inn and a guard tower.
However, that’s not all. The kit also includes a vendor stall in the town and a tree for, you know, some greenery.
Of course, you’ll need the characters if you want to recreate your own scenes of medieval times. Well, there are eight. These include minifigures of a crook, carpenter, tax collector, tapestry weaver, shieldsmith, and a tower guard. Several animals are also present, as are myriad accessories.
Considering this kit’s size and authentic details, it is sure to look spectacular when displayed in your home or office. It will especially look great next to your LEGO Ideas Medieval Blacksmith set.
Haven’t grabbed this kit yet? Unfortunately, the latter kit has been discontinued, along with several other retired LEGO Ideas sets. However, fortunately, the LEGO Ideas Medieval Blacksmith is still available at Walmart. What’s more, Walmart has handed it a massive discount. So, if you’re planning on grabbing this new LEGO-exclusive set, why not get your hands on the discontinued model?
But back to this newly-released kit. How much will it set you back? Well, in short, the LEGO Icons Medieval Town Square set is priced at $229.99.
