Revenant Recon’s Commander is Mirko, Obsessive Theorist. The mind-draining vampire returns from prior Ravnica appearances with a fresh coat of paint. Mirko can dredge back creatures that you Surveil to the grave for free, gaining power all the while. 

The deck’s alt Commander is Marvo, Deep Operative. While less generally useful than Mirko, Marvo is a phenomenally fun Commander who shines a light on the Clash ability. Marvo allows you to Clash with your opponents, betting on your deck’s big mana cards and playing your costliest options for free. Plus, it’s almost impossible to hate the idea of an octopus rogue.
