The Monster Hunter Now February event schedule has been released by Niantic, bringing with it the Lucky Lunar New Year event and Barioth & Legiana week. So, here’s everything you need to know about the event and timings. 

Niantic has finally revealed details for the Monster Hunter Now February event schedule, giving Hunters a look into the game’s future. This month’s main event is the Lucky Lunar New Year event, which will add new dragon-themed weapons and armor.

Aside from the festive quests on offer, there’s also the addition of the Barioth & Legiana week. This will be a must for any Hunters looking to build and upgrade deadly Ice weapons. There’s even a new Hunt-a-thon event, so be sure to check out all the details below.

Lucky Lunar New Year event

The Monster Hunter Now Lucky Lunar New Year event will bring new weapons and armor.

Monster Hunter Now’s Lucky Lunar New Year update will take place from February 1, 2024, at 9:00 am (local time) until February 15, 2024, at 11:59 pm (local time).

The Lucky Lunar New Year event will be adding event quests, rewarding rare materials, as well as exclusive new equipment, and more. You can read all about the specific details in our Lucky Lunar New Year event guide here.

Barioth and Legiana week

Legiana and Barioth will finally bee getting a rate up event.

The Barioth & Legiana week kicks off at the following dates and times:

  • February 16, 2024, at 9:00 am (local time) until February 22, 2024, at 11:59 pm (local time).

During this event, all Hunters who have completed the prologue will be able to find boosted rates of Barioth in forest habitats and Legiana in swamp habitats.

Hunt-a-thon event

From February 23, 2024, at 9:00 am (local time) until March 3, 2024, at 11:59 am (local time), players who have completed the prologue can take part in a new Hunt-a-thon.

The official post hasn’t outlined what the Hunt-a-thon monster will be, but given the previous announcement that Pink Rathain will be returning, it’s likely we’ll see the pink dragon in this update.
