Monster Hunter Now players demand Niantic increase “annoying” Legiana spawn rates
NianticMonster Hunter Now players are calling for Niantic to adjust the spawn rates on certain monsters, with many wanting adjustments to Legiana.
Legiana is one of the most elusive creatures in Monster Hunter Now, as it can only be found in the Swamp biome. This makes tracking it down rather difficult, especially since it appears to have a lower spawn rate.
In fact, many players in the game’s community have been finding it difficult to acquire Legiana Primescales and Legiana Plates. The low spawn rates have only aggravated the low drop rate issue, which has led to the Monster Hunter Now community demanding Legiana spawn rate changes.
Monster Hunter Now players demand Niantic increase Legiana spawn rates
“Legiana, Jyura, and Rathalos have the worst spawn rates of any monsters – it’s annoying,” said one Hunter. “For reference, I have nearly the same number of kills on Banbaro as I do Legiana. That should not be possible, since Legiana had over 3 months longer in the game, and the Banbaro event hasn’t really even started so we can blame that either.”
Other players in the Monster Hunter Now community were also keen to highlight how the lack of Legiana spawns has stopped them from progressing entirely. “I have been stuck on 7-star Diablos for over a month because I can’t get a f*cking Legiana plate to drop,” commented one player.
Commenters were also keen to highlight that Niantic needs to hold another Legiana event to help alleviate the low spawns. “They need to do it again because of their low spawn rates and single biome restriction,” said another Hunter.
However, one player believes there is a much better solution that would solve this issue for good. “I know this is crazy talk, but just hear me out here – biome-exclusive monsters should spawn with greater frequency than non-biome-exclusive monsters.”
While this idea wouldn’t improve the drop rates of Legiana materials, it would give the community more opportunities to hunt elusive monsters like Legiana. Whether Niantic will increase specific monster spawns in the future remains to be seen, but for now, you’ll need to wait until the next Legiana event or hope you get lucky.
