Kesha fans ecstatic over singer’s comeback after Dr Luke
Youtube: KeshaKesha teased the beginning of a new musical era on Instagram. Fans freaked out, as it’s the singer’s first music since leaving Dr. Luke’s label in 2023.
Kesha signed with Kemosabe Records when she was just 18. Through the years, she released numerous records under Dr. Luke’s label, including her revealing Rainbow in 2017.
While releasing new music, Kesha accused Dr. Luke of sexual assault, battery, and sexual harassment. The lawsuit sparked the #FreeKesha movement, with many fans pushing for her liberation from Luke’s label. The case would not be resolved until June 2023 when both parties issued a statement saying the case was settled out of court.
In December 2023, Kesha officially left Kemosabe Records. “I haven’t felt this free since I was 18,” she captioned a TikTok video. And now, it appears she’s freer than ever as the singer released a teaser hinting at new music.

On Instagram, Kesha shared trippy and cheeky visuals for what is likely her next musical era. Instead of a text caption, she simply directed fans to a website called Kesha is Waiting for You, which asks fans to sign up for her email newsletter.
It’s currently unclear when new music is coming, but needless to say, it’ll be coming sooner than you’d expect.
Fans quickly took to the comments to relay their excitement.
“She’s free and we’re ready to hear the story your music tells,” said one fan.
“Freedom sounds so good on you idk if that makes sense?! But I’m sticking to it,” proclaimed another.
Many others posted their thoughts on Twitter/X with appropriate gifs and video clips for emphasis.
“Kesha and her Animals rn since she is releasing music as a free woman,” said one fan, attaching a video from the movie Barbie.
“Kesha is finally FREE free like woah…” wrote another.
Kesha released an album called Gag Order in 2023, her final project for Kemosabe Records. As of this writing, it’s yet to be announced whether the singer has signed (or will sign) to a new label home or go the independent route.
