How to watch the NFL Scouting Combine: Workout schedule & more
YouTube: Official NFLThe 2024 NFL Scouting Combine returns to Indianapolis, Indiana, as the league welcomes hundreds of eager prospects aiming to make their dreams come true.
The NFL Scouting Combine is one of the most pivotal steps in the pre-draft process. It is a week full of workouts and interviews as teams begin pulling the curtain back on these prospects.
The 40-yard dash has become the week’s feature event, but the bench press, 3-cone drill, vertical leap, and broad jump are equally important, depending on which scout you ask.
On-field team workouts are another factor. Scouts can better see how these prospects stack up against one another and what traits translate from game tape to drills.
The interview process is perhaps the most vital exercise of the NFL Scouting Combine. There’s only so much a team can learn about a player without meeting them, so this gives scouts a chance to zero in on personalities.
