Emongg has a recommendation for Overwatch haters
Overwatch streamer Emongg had some choice words for players who are heavily critical of the game.
Overwatch has always been subject to criticism over hero balance. Inevitably, not everyone’s favorite heroes can be at the forefront of the meta at any given time.
More recently, however, the criticism seems to have been heavier than usual, with casual fans and pro players alike expressing frustration in the current state of the game.
For Emongg, however, even more tiresome is coming across players who refuse to adapt to the meta, and then complain about the game when things don’t go well as a result.
Emongg acknowledges that Overwatch has its issues right now, but nevertheless he has a clear message for those that play the game only to complain about it throughout – simply find another game.
“The game right now is in a very frustrating state. The comps feel bland, things aren’t going as well as they should. Well guess fucking what, you ready for this? Then don’t play the game until they patch something that you like. Play something else rather than waste people’s fucking time in the game.”
Emongg even has a recommendation, citing the newly-released Atlas as a potential alternative – although that game too has been riddled with issues and complaints since its public launch on December 22.
