Epic Overwatch Workshop mode ‘OverFighter’ adds Brigitte to its roster
Activision-BlizzardWorkshop mode spawned quite possibly the best Overwatch fighting game ever with OverFighter, and now the roster has added Brigitte into the mix.
DarwinStreams, the Workshop mode master, created a fighting game version of Overwatch called OverFighter, and it has been a hit among fans.
A fighting game has always been in the cards for Overwatch due to the wide selection of characters with all sorts of abilities that would help them stand out in a fighter.
“I will prove myself!”
OverFighter launched without the full roster of heroes found in Overwatch, but the mode is still bringing new characters with future updates.
The most recent update, v1.1, added Brigitte into the mix so now players will have a new character to learn and tinker with. A short trailer was also revealed to show how she will work.
There were other changes too
Outside of the addition of Brigitte, there were some other changes added to the mode, such as an increase in score needed to win, buffs and nerfs to heroes, and some bug fixes.
You can take a look at all of those changes below. If you haven’t tried the mode out, you can do so with code NKNK9.
- Brigitte added as a playable hero
- Score to win increased from 3 to 5
- Short stun added in the beginning of every round to avoid abusing of early hits (while the camera is still setting up)
- Some random bug fixes — Balance changes
- Torbjorn heatlh and damage increased
- Genji health decreased to 200 but damage slightly increased
- Winston damage increased
DarwinStreams is very well-known in the Overwatch community as constantly coming up with new ideas to implement into the game.
One relatively new one includes him creating a walking Zenyatta, which is something we’re not sure anybody wanted, but it’s here for those who want it.
Well Darwin might be the most famous Workshop creator, there are numerous others out there with their own designs so make sure you check them all out!
