Overwatch 2 Healers demand important Moira ability change

Some Overwatch 2 players are demanding an important change to Moira’s Fade ability, with many wanting teammates to be able to see her while she’s in motion.

While the Overwatch 2 community can be split on Moira, the slippery Hero’s ability to output impressive damage, heal her teammates, and use her Fade ability to find cover certainly makes her useful.

But some players are finding it frustrating to try and heal their Moira teammates when they use Fade. This ability causes Moira to completely disappear even for her own team, making tracking just where she’s going a complete guessing game.

So, the Overwatch community has brainstormed a fix for Moira’s kit that they were surprised hadn’t been implemented already.

Overwatch 2 fans want Moira Fade to be teammate-visible

Reddit user youngsirx had a simple demand that they wanted to see Blizzard add to the game: “Make Moria visible to teammates while fading“.

The complaining player was fed up with having to hunt down friendly Moira’s to heal them. They said: “I’m sick of trying to heal Moira and she disappears from the entire world and then I’m just spinning around like an idiot looking for her,” they said.

The fix they proposed? “Show me translucent Moria!”

Other Overwatch fans liked the idea as well and pointed toward another Hero who can make herself invisible to the enemy team, Sombra.

“Right? We can see friendly sombras,” one person agreed. “This would be handy. Also would let teammates know which direction I’m running,” said another.

But other players saw the change as arbitrary and claimed that Moiras should heal themselves with the Biotic Orb: “Moira’s who can’t heal themselves don’t deserve healing,” retorted one player.

Still, while high-level Moira’s who are self-sufficient in healing might not find the change useful, most of the Overwatch 2 community backed the proposed change to fade as a nice quality-of-life fix that would definitely help casual players.
