Overwatch 2 player clutches game-winning play during IRL earthquake
BlizzardOne Overwatch player has managed to pull off an insane clutch in a ranked game despite getting hit by an earthquake, showing that anything is possible.
It’s no secret that there are just so many things that can go wrong during one’s ranked experience in Overwatch 2. Whether that be getting teamed up with underperforming teammates, grievers, or stomped by premades – a lot of these things are bound to happen regardless of a player’s rank.
And when a match becomes beyond unwinnable, things can get a lot worse. Sometimes, it’s just a matter of time until someone gets tilted and decides to give up or leave.
However, one particular player has proven that regardless of how awful things may be looking, there is always a glimmer of hope.
Showcased in a clip on Reddit, the player showed their footage of pulling off an insane clutch in a ranked match despite getting hit by an earthquake IRL. The clip started with the player pushing the payload as Ramattra.
As the payload approached the first point of Route 66, the earthquake began to hit, and the player had no choice but to leave for safety. Fortunately, this only happened for a brief moment. The player also assured others that it wasn’t anything heavy and managed to save their dogs as well.
Upon returning to the game, they were met with an unsurprising teamwipe, given that it was a 4v5 fight for a while. Then, what seemed like an unwinnable match after respawning, with one healer getting picked off during overtime, has turned into a fantastic clutch.
As soon as the player made their way back to the payload, the enemy team got picked off one by one thanks to their perfectly timed Ramattra ult, and with the help of those still alive.
“In conclusion: don’t make excuses for living” was written at the end of the clip, along with an image detailing the shaking intensity in the player’s area.
“Protected the dogs, didn’t even get kicked from the game, and came back all in time to win,” praised one user.
“Bro got shattered in real life,” one user wrote, referring to Reinhardt’s ultimate.
Meanwhile, another person jokingly said, “Why did I expect the gameplay to start shaking.”
All in all, a lot of the comments are glad that the OP and their dogs are safe, but there are also others who poked fun at the enemy tank for teabagging the OP, only to lose.
