As a new player, they provide a lot of help to quickly shore up a strong base, and with a variety of Ground Pals that can be ridden as mounts, they make a great early pick to get to explore the map quicker.

Plus, not all Ground Pals are common. In fact some Ground element Pals are among the top-ranked in the game. These Pals are great for combat and able to deal devastating blows to opponents. All this makes Ground Element Pals worthy catches for any player’s Paldeck.

Anubis

• Element: Ground
• Partner Skill: Guardian of the Desert – When fighting together, applies Ground damage to the player’s attacks. Sometimes dodges attacks with a high-speed sidestep while in a battle.
• Work Suitability: Handiwork Lv4, Transporting Lv2, Mining Lv3

Anubis is undoubtedly one of the most powerful Ground Pals in the game. Ranked SS tier and with a base HP of 120, it’s a bulky tank Pal. Plus, when Anubis is out and fighting alongside the player it also applies Ground damage to their attacks, making it a fantastic option to have in the party during encounters.  

Anubis also makes a helpful base worker, with high Handiwork, it can help with cutting down on the time it takes players to craft items like Pal Spheres and New Technology.   

Warsect

• Partner Skill:  Hard Armor – When fighting together, increases player’s defense and applies Fire damage to the player’s attacks.
• Work Suitability: Planting Lv1, Handiwork Lv1, Lumbering Lv3, Transporting Lv3

Warsect is another SS tier Pal that’s a fusion of the Ground & Grass elements. Warsect’s high ranking is thanks to its Partner Skill, Hard Armor, which increases defense and applies fire damage to the player’s attacks.

But Warsect is no slouch when put to work at the base either. Their varied Work Suitability gives them plenty of versatility to help with crafting and growing crops, plus their high Transporting and Lumbering means they make good resource gatherers too.

Digtoise

• Partner Skill: Drill Crusher – When activated, performs Shell Spin, follows the player while spinning, and mines ores efficiently.

Digtoise is yet another Ground Pal ranked SS tier thanks to its impressive combat capabilities and high defense. While Digtoise’s Partner Skill makes them great for map exploration and gathering resources. Players can set Drill Crusher to spin and have Digtoise mine for them as they make their way across the map.

On base, Digtoise isn’t quite as versatile as other Ground Pals. Its only Work Suitability is Mining, although at level three, it provides a quick way to stock up on stone and ore.
