Like any other survival game, staying healthy and happy is key to doing well in Palworld, so here’s how to get and stay warm.

Palworld exploded onto the gaming scene in 2024. The open-world survival game surged its way to the top of the Steam charts, becoming a game anyone and everyone is talking about. The title hasn’t soared to the top without controversy though, with many players critiquing the game for plagiarizing Pokemon.

Despite the drama, the game has still seen major success, managing to blend survival aspects with the lovable and adorable Pals. With that being said, here’s how to stay warm in Palworld.

Getting Cold in Palworld

Palworld has a temperature gauge that’s located at the bottom left of the screen. This indicates how hot or cold your character is. The extremes of this gauge will cause your player to take damage, so ensuring you maintain a comfy temperature is key to your survival.

Torches are a great way to keep warm in Palworld.

You’ll experience cold weather at night in the Temperate and Desert zones, while always receiving cold weather when in the Tundra.

How to stay warm in Palworld

There are a couple of methods for staying warm in Palworld, and they mostly involve bringing a fire source or something warm with you. The most basic form of staying warm is through a campfire or torch.

Similarly, wearing warm clothes or building a shelter will keep you warm while playing the game.

If you’re out on the move, having a fire Pal in your party will also help, as they can provide heat if you stand near them. However, they won’t be able to protect you from extreme cold or freezing temperatures.
