How to trade Pals with another player in Palworld
PocketpairExchanging Pals can save you loads of time from having to go to a certain area to catch the ones you want. Find out how to trade Pals with other players in Palworld.
Aside from base-building and exploring, collecting Pals is arguably one of the things that make the game exciting. However, with over a hundred different Pals scattered throughout the island, sometimes you may not always encounter every single one of them.
But what if your friend has the Pals that you want? Thankfully, there is no need to sulk when you see them summon their Pals, as it’s possible to trade Pals with others in the game.
You can do this in two ways, though the first relies more on trust if you’re playing on a public server. Here’s everything you need to know about how to trade Pals with another player in Palworld.
How to trade Pals by dropping them
The first method to trade Pals requires you to drop your Pal on the ground, which allows your friend to pick it up and then do the same for you. Follow these steps to drop your Pal:
- First, bring up your Party screen.
- Hover to the Pal you’d like to drop.
- Press R on your keyboard to drop the Pal.
- A warning will pop up; select “Yes” to continue.
- Your Pal should now be dropped on the ground as a Pal Sphere.
Once you’ve done this, your friend can interact with the Pal Sphere, and whatever Pal inside it will automatically be theirs. However, you’ll want to be extra careful when doing this on public servers, as a stranger might pick up the Pal Sphere instead.
How to trade Pals by using the Palbox
Trading Pals using the Palbox is a safer alternative, but in order to do this, you need to be in the same guild as your friend. This is because the Palbox can only be accessed by members of the same guild.
- If you haven’t, create or join a guild first with your friend.
- Walk up to your Pal Management Box.
- Press F and drag the Pal you’d like to trade to one of the slots.
- Your friend can now open the Palbox and drag your Pal from one of the slots to their party.
- Have your friend repeat the steps above to obtain their Pal.
And that’s pretty much how to trade Pals with another player in Palworld. These two methods are both viable when it comes to exchanging Pals. While you’re here, check out some of the best mounts or starter Pals to help you get an idea of which Pal you should prioritize getting.
