Palworld player decimates boss with genetically engineered Tocotoco
PocketpairPalworld’s breeding mechanics have created a new god. A Tocotoco called Oppenheimer that is just as destructive as her namesake.
Palworld’s meteoric rise through the Steam charts to become the second-most-played game of all time is the stuff of legends. This little indie that could has captured the attention of millions of players thanks to its intriguing blend of survival, crafting, and creature-collection mechanics.
A big part of the fun of Palworld is how little it takes seriously. Players are having a blast committing atrocities in their work camps and using the game’s base-building to make water slides.
Serious Pal Tamers have already cracked the game’s breeding mechanics and used them to create highly optimized death machines. The latest to receive this treatment is Reddit user u/Correct-Fox-4545’s Tocotoco which has been seen wiping out a mid-game boss in under 15 seconds.
The aptly named Oppenhiemer is the pinnacle of Tocotoco genetics with a whopping attack stat of 1633. This is thanks to the ability to stack a Pal with favorable Passive Abilities using Palworld’s breeding.
u/Correct-Fox-4545’s Tocotoco has all four Passive Ability slots loaded with Lucky, Legend, Ferocious, and Musclehead. All of which adds some level of increase to the attack stat.
Tocotoco’s handy Partner Skill turns it into a makeshift grenade launcher and thanks to these buffs, the damage of its explosive eggs is ramped way up. So much so that it can chew through Lily and Lyleen’s 69,375 HP in a matter of seconds.
Oppenheimer the Tocotoco can do upwards of 8,000 damage on a critical hit which would make even late-game challenges a breeze. We’d hate to see its Megaton Implode attack.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen Palworld eugenics create a damage-dealing god. Footage of a Lifmunk melting an Alpha Pal’s health bar with its submachine gun made the rounds after the game had been out for less than a week.
Still, Oppenheimer the Tocotoco is a little more impressive. It truly has become Death, the destroyer of Pals.
