Palworld players hope for Elden Ring and Pokemon-inspired PvP mode
POCKETPAIRThe Palworld community has revealed several things they want to see present in the game’s upcoming PvP Pal Arena mode.
Palworld devs recently revealed a roadmap for the game, giving players a sneak peek into what content will be available in future updates. One of the most exciting reveals was that of the Pal Arena, a PvP game mode that pits Pals against one another.
Currently, Palworld doesn’t feature any PvP and only enables players to play together via multiplayer coop. However, the introduction of this PvP mode will finally enable adventurers to flex their skills over one another.
While the Palworld PvP mode hasn’t been given a release date, that hasn’t stopped players from coming up with exciting ideas that could enhance the experience.

“It’d be neat if it was set up like Elden Ring where there’s a coliseum on the map you go to and register for Pokemon league-style tournaments where they toss you in a bracket,” said one player.
This idea was met with a lot of praise from the community, with many urging the player to post their idea on the official Palworld Discord. Meanwhile, others were keen to expand upon this coliseum mode.
“Sounds like multiple rule sets would be a good shout,” responded another player. “Last Pal Standing, Trainers, and Pals vs Trainers and Pals, only over when all Pals but one are gone. Trainer Sudden Death, Pal vs Pal, Team Vs Team, 5 match 1vs1 series, and so on.”
The Palworld community has also commended the devs for not turning Palworld’s multiplayer into other popular survival games like Ark and Rust.
“Thank god it’s gonna be Pal vs Pal,” said one player “I hated Rust as I hated coming back to absolutely nothing. I hated everything about the game while offline. Don’t need no degenerate Rust players ruining Palworld.”
Pocketpair has yet to reveal when the Palworld PvP mode will be added, but it’s clear the game’s community is excited about its arrival.
