Where to find and catch Pyrin Noct in Palworld

Pyrin Noct is a Fire/Dark-type Pal that’s not only fantastic at kindling in Palworld, but is also one of the fastest Mounts in the game – so knowing where to find one is vital.

Surviving in a harsh world is a core part of the game, but so is capturing as many Pals as you can to strengthen your base and bolster your team for battle.

Pyrin Noct is the Dark variation of Pyrin, and while this Pal can be aggressive towards players at first, once you’ve got one on your side, it’ll be a formidable ally with its Dark damage buffs and the ability to speed around the land on its back.

How to catch it

You’ll find Pyrin Noct roaming the volcanic region located southwest of the Palworld map (shown in the image above) – but you’ll only be able to see them at Nighttime. If you’d rather catch a standard Pyrin, you just need to search the same area in the daylight.

Given the hazardous conditions of the volcano, we’d advise equipping Heat Resistant Armor to maintain your HP during exploration. Additionally, while you can use a Giga Sphere, a Hyper Sphere will give you a much better chance to catch Pyrin Noct when you find one.

It can alternatively be found when exploring the Cavern of the Dunes Dungeon located in the Sand Dunes biome too, and there’s also a chance for them to hatch from Large Scorching Eggs.

How to breed Pyrin Noct

You can also breed a Standard Pyrin with a Katress to create a Pyrin Noct. To do this, simply place both Pals in your Breeding Farm, move the Egg to an Egg Incubator, and wait for it to hatch.

Pyrin Noct Skills in Palworld

As well as having a level 2 Work suitability for Kindling, and level 1 for Lumbering, Pyrin Noct can learn the following Active Skills:

Dark Charge	Charges forward while clad in a veil of dark flames. Flames continue to burn in its trajectory. Pyrin Noct’s exclusive skill.	Level 30
Ignis Rage	Energizes the surrounding ground, causing it to explode after a set amount of time.	Level 40
Dark Laser	Charges Dark energy before blasting a powerful beam at enemies.	Level 50

What loot drops does it have?

When you defeat Pyrin Noct, it may drop either Flame Organ or Leather. Flame Organ can be used to craft Fire Arrows, while Leather is always handy to have for creating new armor and saddles for mountable Pals.
