Klefki was first introduced to the mainline series through X & Y, where the Fairy-type debuted. It was released in Pokemon Go for the first time in December 2020 during the Kalos Celebration event.

How to get Klefki in Pokemon Go
Normally, Klefki is only available in France and its surrounding areas through Pokemon Go. As such, it can be considered a regional-exclusive Pokemon like Hawlucha or Sigilyph.
For those who live outside of France, the best option for catching Klefki is to look out for special events. For example, trainers attending the Go Fest 2024 Madrid event can encounter Klefki in all available habitats.
This event is in-person only and will take place at the Juan Carlos I Park and will kick off on June 14, 2024, until June 16, 2024.

No, Shiny Klefki has not been released in Pokemon Go at the time of writing. It’s unclear when Shiny Klefki will make its debut, but considering it’s a regional-exclusive it may be awhile.
Shiny Klefki sports a gold coloration instead of silver, and its teardrop-shaped body is blue instead of pink.
Perhaps during a future Kalos-themed event trainers will finally be able to catch Klefki. Whenever it’s made available we will update this guide accordingly.
Can Klefki evolve?
Like in the mainline series of games, Klefki cannot evolve in Pokemon Go. It features now alternate forms and no Mega Evolutions either.
While that may be disappointing to some, Klefki actually boasts fairly decent stats despite its lack of evolution. In particular, it also resists 11 different types in Pokemon Go which helps it in battle.
