Pokemon Go players hoping to add the cute kitten Sprigatito to their team are in luck, so learn how to find and catch this Grass-type feline in Pokemon Go with our full guide.

The Pokemon Horizons show has made one thing very clear: Sprigatito is one of the cutest Pokemon around, whether in Pokemon Go or not. The adorable Grass-type kitten is a starter from Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, evolving into the powerful Meowscarada.

Thankfully, Pokemon Go added Sprigatito a while ago, along with its Paldean pals Fuecoco and Quaxly, but players may want to know the best way to bag the Pokemon, and that’s where we’re here to help.

So learn how to earn yourself a Sprigatito and if it can be Shiny with our guide:

The Pokemon Sprigatito is freely available in Pokemon Go, meaning it can be encountered in the overworld under normal circumstances. However, players are more likely to encounter it during the Pokemon Go x Pokemon Horizons event.

The Pokemon Go X Pokemon Horizons event runs from March 5, 2024, until March 11, 2024, and is increasing the spawn rates for Pokemon featured in the Pokemon Horizons show, such as Sprigatito, Captain Pikachu, Charizard, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and even Charcadet.

Can Sprigatito be Shiny in Pokemon Go?

At the time of writing, no, Sprigatito cannot be encountered in its Shiny form in Pokemon Go. We expect this to change in the future, perhaps as part of a Sprigatito Community Day, but currently there is no confirmation on if or when this might happen.

That’s all we have for our Pokemon Go Sprigatito guide for now, but for more great guides, be sure to check out more of our content below:
