The wild world of Pokemon merch continues to get weirder, and one of the latest pieces of Pocket Monster memorabilia from Japan could take pride of place in your bathroom.

It’s no secret that there is plenty of Pokemon merch out there in the world. After over 25 years of the iconic franchise and well over 1000 of those pesky Pocket Monsters, players can get a version of just about every ‘mon to keep them company at home.

Whether it’s some of the new Pokemon featured in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, the weirder inclusions found in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, or many, many, more: there world of Pokemon merch is vast, and strange, though this new item might just be one of the weirdest releases yet.

Let Vileplume hand you toilet paper with weird new Pokemon merch

As shared by Japanese store Meccha Japan on X, a new piece of merch is on its way to Japan, featuring a happy-looking Vileplume (not affiliated) ready to hold your toilet paper for you, so you can pull it out of its head.

Pokemon fans are having a lot of fun in the comments, especially because this is easily on the ‘sillier’ end of Pocket Monster merchandise. One person comments underneath the post, saying “Why does vileplume look so evil, devious little guy.”

Another person comments on Vileplume’s face, adding, “He looks so sneakkkkkyyyyyy.” Meanwhile, another post gets straight to the point, joking “It knows what these paper towels are really used for.”

A different comment asks, “Why does it look so devious? Did it knowingly cause the sneeze?” Well, considering Vileplume is based on a flower known for its distinctively disgusting smell, sometimes called the Corpse Flower, Vileplume might just have something to do with it.
