Niantic offers compensation to Sinnoh Tour ticket holders
Niantic has released an official statement through the Pokemon Go blog titled, “Saturday update for Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Los Angeles.”
In the post, the developer apologized for the delay “that impacted Trainers attempting to enter the venue.” The venue in question is the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, which acted as the main hub for the Sinnoh Tour – Los Angeles.
The post continued: “As compensation for this delay, all Saturday Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Los Angeles ticket holders and those who purchased a Saturday City-wide Gameplay add-on will have their event gameplay extended later today.”
Niantic clarified that on February 17, 2024, the city event experience would be expanded to include all of Orange County and Los Angeles for three extra hours. Specifically, from 5 PM to 8 PM EST. This extension will not be held within the Rose Bowl Stadium or Brookside Golf Course.
Additionally, the developer claimed that additional raids and wild Pokemon encounters would spawn during these three extra hours.
The developer capped off the post by urging trainers to “plan to arrive early to Rose Bowl Stadium tomorrow,” as well as to reserve parking ahead of time and provided a link to purchase a space.
