Pokemon Go Adventure Week Taken Over Special Research tasks & rewards

The Pokemon Go Adventure Week Taken Over event is here, and to go with it, a new Special Research is available as well as new Tasks and Rewards.

In addition to the annual Adventure Week, Pokemon Go has announced the Taken Over event to chase down Team Go Rocket, such as Giovanni and the tough underlings Sierra, Cliff, and Arlo.

Adventure Week Taken Over will take place from Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 12 AM to Monday, August 12, 2024, at 11:59 PM local time. This event will mark the debut of Shadow Cresselia and allow players to face Shadow Lugia in Raids.

Additionally, trainers can participate in the Taken Over Special Research to earn Rocket Radars, Hyper Potions, and more. Keep reading for the quest’s tasks and rewards.

• Catch 15 Pokemon – x5 Pinap Berries
• Purify 2 Shadow Pokemon – x10 Poke Balls
• Defeat 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts – x1 Mysterious Component

Rewards: 1500 XP, x500 Stardust, Kabuto encounter

• Catch 20 Pokemon – x5 Pinap Berries
• Purify 5 Shadow Pokemon – x10 Great Balls
• Defeat 6 Team Go Rocket Grunts – x3 Mysterious Components
