The Legendary Enamorus was first introduced to players back in Pokemon Legends: Arceus in January 2022 and debuted in Niantic’s mobile game in 2024 during the Timeless Travels season.
Now, this ferocious flying Pokemon with powerful stats and a unique type combination is whisking its way back into Pokemon Go. So, you better learn how to counter it, as Enamorus is no pushover.
Enamorus weaknesses in Pokemon Go
As a dual Fairy/Flying-type Pokemon, Enamorus is weak against Electric, Ice, Poison, Rock, and Steel-type moves, which deal increased damage to the Legendary Genie. Players will have plenty of Pokemon to choose from when building their teams, though most of them are Electric, Rock, and Steel creatures.
On the other hand, Enamorus also has a decent handful of resistances, such as Bug, Dragon, Fighting, Ground, Dark, and Grass-type attacks. So avoid using those at all costs.

How to get Enamorus in Pokemon Go
As with most of the Legendaries in the game, the only way to get Enamorus Incarnate Forme in Pokemon Go is to challenge and defeat it in 5-Star Raid battles.
Luckily for players, the recent Dual Destiny rotations are bringing this mighty creature back as a 5-Star Raid boss just in time for Valentine’s Day, so it will be available from February 6, 2025, until February 17, 2025. More so, it will be featured in a Raid Hour on February 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM local time.
Niantic / The Pokemon CompanyIf you succeed in defeating it, you’ll be able to attempt a catch with the Premier Balls you’re given after the encounter. However, the amount of balls you get will depend on your performance during the battle.
It’s worth remembering that using Golden Razz Berries and landing Excellent Curveball Throws can increase your chances of catching any type of Pokemon.
