Pokemon Go player can’t believe Niantic have let app “suck” for so long

Pokemon Go Player EmbarrassedAd9792 expressed to the game’s subreddit: “Pokemon Go as an app, sucks.

“The UI is clunky, simple tasks always take like 6 steps to get a single thing done. They haven’t updated the look in…ever? There’s nothing intuitive about navigating menus.

“Campfire is also a hot pile of garbage that does not need to be its own separate app. Idk. I love the game (sorta), but they really need to overhaul this whole thing. I can’t believe Nintendo & Niantic allowed this to suck for so long.”

Various players flooded in to agree and slammed other related pocket monster apps. “If you think this is bad try Pokemon Sleep. Every single interaction involves long animations and loading,” one player commented. Another added: “The mobile version of Pokémon Home is also flaming hot laggy trash even on the fastest phones. For Pokemon standards, PoGo could be a lot worse.”

While others stuck to the criticizing the main Pokemon Go app. “I agree, their UI is a complete disgrace,” a fellow trainer said, as many players echoed comments surrounding: ” The amount of repetition required to play the game, and how those elements are designed, simply make no sense. In particular, the Niantic designers seem to love having animations in between most actions, which take far longer than necessary.”

Overall, many players highlighted numerous tasks they felt were too repetitive. These included it taking too long to feed their buddy Pokemon, send and receive gifts, trading, raids, catching and much more.
