Pokemon Go players praise dedication of one collector’s wild Pokedex

People who like to 100% complete games often feel at home in the Pokemon community. Games like Pokemon Go have a lot of tasks to complete and checkboxes to tick off, so there are a lot of completionists in the scene.
One Pokemon Go player took to r/PokemonGoMystic recently to share a video of their incredible Pokemon collection with the caption, “can you tell I play this game too much”, and it puts a lot of other completionists to shame.
Pokemon Go players amazed by collector’s dedication
Originally popping up in this Reddit post, Pokemon Go player RigbyJunior1 shared a quick video of their PokeDex haul to the Mystic Subreddit.
RigbyJunior1’s collection is immense and it sparked a lot of conversation in the replies, with a lot of people focusing on the amount of storage that it took up.
Some players were amazed by the video, with one excited reader saying, “Woah that is a RESPECTABLE DEDICATION, THE COMPLETE(?) LIVING POKEDEX IS CRAZY” before encouraging RigbyJunior1 to transfer some of their low-IV Pokemon.
In fact, lots of people encouraged RigbyJunior1 to transfer some Pokemon. They replied to one commenter saying, “I just transferred 1800 so I wouldn’t get too roasted for a bad storage” and explained that they prefer to have lots of storage so that they don’t have to transfer in the middle of the day.
A few players were baffled by the video, questioning why it was necessary to have so many mons and querying how much the storage cost.
One person asked what the point was and stated, “it seems like a majority of your Pokemon are useless and you’ll never use them”. RigbyJunior1 replied that they’re part of a big community and that “I am the one who usually keeps something of everything in case they need it for dex entry.”
