Pokemon Go players show off “insane” Shiny haul from just one Raid

An IRL group of Pokemon Go players couldn’t believe their luck when they all came together and caught four Shiny Pokemon from only one Raid.

Pokemon Go’s Raids have proved to be a key part of the mobile pocket monsters game since they were first introduced.

Each month, Niantic shakes up the Raids and their bosses to keep it feeling fresh for players. This includes adding a new set of Pokemon ranging from 1-stars to 5-star Legendaries for players to battle and catch.

Completing one of these 5-star Raids can be a tricky task. However for these four players who joined forces IRL to tackle the Raid, they defied the odds and all managed to catch a Shiny for themselves.

Pokemon Go players get crazy Shiny haul after one Raid

Pokemon player meenu1216 revealed them and their IRL friends had caught: “4 Shiny Palkais in one raid!” As they all showed off their Shinies they caught in a group photo.

Among the best of the bunch was even a Shiny Palkia Shundo, which was shown with 2958 CP. Fellow trainers were keen to praise the remarkable haul and express their jealousy as many admitted they had nowhere near the same success.

Various players echoed: “Congrats! Especially to the 2958 person.” As more added: “Thanks for making everyone hate you and your friends,” and “So this is where all the RNG went.”

While some just felt bad for the person taking the photo: “Had to hurt being the one to hold the camera.”

The Shiny haul equally triggered some in the Pokmeon Go playerbase, who were reminded of their bad luck when attempting the same Raids. “I honestly want to forget this event ever happened. Good for some…bad for a lot of others from the comment sections I’ve seen,” a player responded.

One trainer explained how they “had 8 friends playing together for hours on Saturday and no shinies on any legendaries for us.”

The Origin Forme Palkia and the normal Palkia became Five-star Raid bosses as part of the Pokemon Go Tour Sinnoh event.
