Pokemon Go is holding a Community Day Classic event for Generation 1’s Normal-type, Porygon. This event features a Timed Research quest, so here’s what trainers can expect from it.

Pokemon Go is set to host the first Community Day Classic event of 2024, this time focusing on the Normal-type Gen 1 Pokemon, Porygon.

This event is the perfect opportunity to catch plenty of Porygon and even get an exclusive move. Players who evolve Porygon2 into a Porygon-Z will get access to Tri Attack Charged Attack.

This event also includes a free Timed Research quest that trainers can tackle. So, here’s how to complete each task and claim the rewards for the Porygon Community Day Classic.

  • Power up Pokemon 5 times – Upgrade x1
  • Catch 5 Porygon – Upgrade x2
  • Make 3 Nice Throws – Sinnoh Stone x2

Rewards: 1,000 XP and Sinnoh Stone x1

How to Participate in the Community Day Classic Timed Research

The Porygon Community Day Classic Timed Research is a free quest meaning all trainers will have access to it when the event begins on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2 PM local time.

As it is a Timed Research quest it will expire, so fans should be sure to complete the tasks and claim their rewards before Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 7 PM local time.
