Pokemon Go PvP | Not working? | Rewards & more
The first weekend of Pokemon Go Trainer Battles has come to its conclusion. The new Pokemon Go PvP mode has been received well by the Pokemon Community.
Pokemon Go PvP Not Working
However, some Pokemon Go trainers have been experiencing problems when trying to compete in Trainer Battles. These problems vary in severity but these are some of the more common ones:
- Unable to attack
- Lag
- Unable to accept battle requests
- Starting the battle with damaged Pokemon
Niantic are renowned for listening to feedback. As a result, they will likely have fixes for these issues soon. The new PvP mode is a big addition for Pokemon Go and therefore these are just teething problems.
One remedy a lot of players are having success with though, is making sure their phone’s time zone is set to automatic. More specifically:
- Close all apps
- Turn automatic time zone OFF (if not done already)
- Restart phone
- Turn automatic time zone back ON
Trainer Battle Rewards
Firstly, it is worth noting that both the winner and loser of a Trainer Battle get rewards! This will be a welcomed feature in the Pokemon Community as it won’t punish those who aren’t as good at battling.
Currently, the rewards for participating in a Trainer Battle are stardust and special evolution items. A prime example is the Sinnoh Stone, which allows you to evolve particular Pokemon into their generation 4 forms.
