Popular Japanese cosplayer and streamer, Haru “hutoon” Tachibana shed tears of shock and excitement after unboxing an ultra-rare Pokémon card, the Alakazam Ex card live on stream.

Unboxing streams have drawn audiences for years, and if there’s one thing people love watching unboxed, it’s Pokemon trading cards.

Whether it’s the allure of seeing a rare card that’s hard to come across, or just reveling in the streamer’s reaction. Unboxing Pokemon trading cards has remained a popular activity for streamers for several years now.

Japanese streamer, hutoon, was opening some foils from the Pokemon TCG Scarlet & Violet 151 Collection while chatting with her stream. Then, to her surprise, she unboxed one of the rarest cards in the set.

Opening in front of her live audience, she quickly turned the surprise pull to the camera, showing hundreds of viewers just how lucky she was in that moment.

The holographic card turned out to be an Alakazam Ex secret ultra-rare from the new collection.

“It’s so hard to get this,” (translated from Japanese) she exclaimed to her stream, while showing off the card to the camera.

Not only is the card pretty difficult to come by, it’s also a great tool to have in your deck.

Plenty of Pokemon TCG fans have praised the new version of Alakzam Ex, which has a hefty 320 HP and enables a player to attack with the Pokémon from the bench for 120 damage.

If hutoon is thinking about using her new ultra-rare card, she should probably make sure she’s got a Klefki in her kit too.
