90 Day: The Single Life fans convinced Natalie’s Season 4 storyline is staged
TLCNatalie Mordovtseva has become a recurring cast member on 90 Day: The Single Life, but fans wonder if the producers are creating a storyline for her.
Natalie Mordovtseva is making herself known in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise by appearing on multiple spinoffs.
She’s starring in the newest season of 90 Day: The Single Life, where she’s making a big move to Los Angeles after living in Florida for a few years beforehand.
Natalie’s mom Nelia has joined her in the US, and she’s realizing that it’s harder than she thought to find both a job and an affordable apartment.
Now that Natalie has reunited with her boyfriend Josh Weinstein in California, she’s putting pressure on him to help her start her life in Los Angeles, but viewers think it could all be for show.
90 Day: The Single Life fans slam Natalie’s “contrived” storyline
On Reddit, fans shared their opinions about Natalie’s supposedly ‘unrealistic’ storyline on 90 Day: The Single Life Season 4.
“I know the whole ‘Natalie Moves to LA’ nonsense was contrived by the 90DF production team, but it’s still anxiety-inducing to see her drag her mother to a huge new city without working through her finances and making sure she had housing and employment first,” the original poster wrote.
“Makes me wonder if TLC is paying for everything, in addition to the TLC salary, for them to go along with this storyline,” another fan added.
“Yeah, because this makes no sense. If this is all on TLC‘s dime, it doesn’t matter that she has no credit history because TLC is paying her rent and signing the lease,” a third fan agreed, referring to Natalie not being able to buy an apartment.
Even though Natalie returning to 90 Day: The Single Life isn’t surprising because of the drama she causes on the show, fans feel that her storyline isn’t adding up.
In one episode, Natalie is worried about being able to afford an apartment in LA, and in the next episode she already has an apartment, and Josh told her that the first month’s rent was waived.
Producers might be helping Natalie pay for the apartment so she doesn’t have to move back to Florida or Ukraine and can continue being on the show.
90 Day: The Single Life airs Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET on TLC.
