Over the years, Love Island succeeded in matching many ideal pairings, many of which are still together.
But what about Kai and Sanam, are they still together a year after winning the show? Here’s everything you need to know.
Are Kai and Sanam still together?
Yes, Kai and Sanam are still together, much to fans’ delight.
Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan were crowned winners of Love Island UK Season 9 on March 13. The pair continued to date after leaving the island and kept their fans updated through their social media.
Sanam is known to share their couple milestones on her Instagram page. After leaving the villa, the two introduced each other to their families, went to a Beyonce concert together, and had vacation trips to places like Mauritius and Zante.
Kai and Sanam love making public appearances together and were seen working together on interviews, podcasts, Instagram spon con, and even attending work events. They also signed up to join a new reality show together called Bad Bunny, which is hosted by Islander Chloe Burrows.
In August 2023, the pair got engaged and moved in together, and in February 2024, Sanam made a post on her Instagram celebrating their first anniversary. She wrote: “Who said you can’t find love on TV?”
In an interview with OK! Magazine, they revealed that they’re prioritizing their relationship over the fame and fortune that came with being on Love Island.
Kai said: “The difference between Love Island couples and ordinary couples is that there is a lot of pressure on the relationship when you leave the villa. What makes Sanam and I different is that you have to decide what you want more – the fame that comes with the show, or the person you’re in a relationship with.
“You get invited to parties but we wanted each other more than that lifestyle. We enjoy every moment together and we do things the other person is interested in, too.”
