ABCJoey Graziadei revealed that his journey on The Bachelor Season 28 was “emotional,” for both the contestants and himself.
The Bachelor Season 28 featuring lead Joey Graziadei is underway, and the first two episodes have already proven to be entertaining for viewers.
Joey’s Season 28 contestants are opening up their hearts to him, knowing that they could get sent home at any moment.
As Joey continues to build stronger connections with the women, it will be harder for him to say goodbye, whether they choose to leave or are eliminated by not receiving a rose.
The Bachelor contestants are traveling the world with Joey, where they will go on exciting adventures and form a closer bond.
Joey tried to create a “safe space” for the contestants
On the Jennifer Hudson Show, Joey shared that The Bachelor Season 28 will be very emotional.
“There’s a lot of emotion, I think I’ve always been someone that has worn my emotions on my sleeve, I know a lot of the women did the same. I tried to create a safe space for all of them to be able to do that,” he told Jennifer.
“I think it’s healthy to kind of let out how you’re feeling at this time, and through this whole entire show, you know, there’s moments where you feel those emotions and it’s better to let them go than to just hold onto them, so you will see it this season, that’s for sure.”
So far, Joey has shown a lot of empathy for the contestants during his season of The Bachelor.
The tennis instructor listened when Daisy Kent opened up about her hearing loss, and also comforted Lauren Hollinger when she decided to go home because her father’s death was still affecting her.
Throughout the season, Joey will learn more personal stories about the other contestants on the show and share many tearful moments with them.
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8:00 p.m ET on ABC.
