Below Deck fans blame ‘lackluster’ Season 11 cast for low ratings
BravoBelow Deck Season 11 dropped in ratings for Episode 5, and fans believe the cast is to blame for losing viewers’ interest.
Below Deck Season 11 is bringing the drama with the St. David crew, and Captain Kerry Titheradge has a lot to deal with on board.
Fraser Olender faced off with stew Barbie Pascual over her abrasive behavior while working on the yacht.
Two Below Deck cast members, Bosun Jared Woodin and stew Cat Baugh, are already in danger of being fired due to inserting their personal lives into their work.
Fraser revealed that there’s a record number of firings on the show during Season 11, so viewers likely won’t be watching the current crew for too much longer.
Below Deck fans call for Jared to be replaced on the show
On X, TV Deets shared the ratings for this week’s episode of Below Deck. “Ratings: Below Deck S11E05 — 0.16 demo (P18-49) / 715,000 viewers. *new season low*,” they wrote.
Below Deck fans reacted to the show’s shockingly low ratings in the replies. “Great captain, nothing else is that great,” one fan commented.
“Without @capthlr, this show sucks. Bring him back,” another fan said, requesting for Captain Lee Rosbach to return.
“Get rid of Jarred & get a smooth guy on the show the girls will like please,” a different person added.
Below Deck Season 11 already has interesting storylines so far, but fans aren’t sold on the new cast.
Since most of the crew isn’t likely to stay for the whole season, viewers might tune into the show when new faces join the boat.
Captain Lee being replaced could also affect the ratings because fans were used to seeing him on the show and have to adapt to Captain Kerry.
The ratings could go back up again as more Below Deck Season 11 episodes continue to air.
Below Deck airs Mondays at 9:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.
