Below Deck’s Barbie exposes family for not approving of her going on the show
BravoBarbie Pascual admitted that her family had doubts about her decision to go on Below Deck Season 11.
Barbara ‘Barbie’ Pascual has brought the drama on Below Deck Season 11, and the charter season is just getting started.
The stewardess was almost fired by Chief Stew Fraser Olender, and was in a feud with her coworker, Cat Baugh because she wasn’t being sensitive to her feelings.
Although Barbie apologized to Fraser for her behavior on the boat, she still has to endure the rest of the season with him as her boss.
Later in the season, Barbie will be involved in a Below Deck love triangle, assisting demanding charter guests, and more arguments with Fraser on the interior team.
Barbie claims her family wasn’t a “huge fan” of her being on the show
In an interview with TV Insider, Barbie revealed how she helped prepare her family for her appearance on Below Deck Season 11 since she referred to herself as a ‘daddy’s girl.’
“I did. I called them about doing this. My family is not a huge fan of me doing this. They are very private and not at all like me. I’m definitely the black sheep,” she explained.
Barbie continued, “They don’t love I’m putting myself out there like this, but they support me.”
Since Barbie has already caused a lot of drama on the show, she may be worried about how she comes across to her family.
Being on a reality TV show like Below Deck can often portray someone as a more dramatic version of themselves, which can be far from the truth.
Barbie has shown remorse for her actions on the show after talking to Fraser, and is willing to make a change, but the season is far from over.
Below Deck airs Mondays at 9:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.
