It might have taken his third time on the show, but Fraser Olender from Below Deck is proving himself as a great leader.

One of the only returning cast members for Below Deck’s eleventh season is none other than Chief Steward Fraser Olender. This marks his third season on the show, his second time holding the chief position, and his first time working under Captain Kerry Titheradge.

With an almost brand-new cast, Fraser is in charge of working with the new crew members and making sure they are all working in harmony.

This means dealing with petty squabbles, love triangles, and anything else that might come his way. If he doesn’t handle these situations quickly then these moments of chaos could cause people to get fired and charter guests giving low tips for poor experiences.

This far, Fraser has managed to keep the peace (despite the argument between Cat and Barbie) and viewers are stoked to see this change in his leadership.

Below Deck’s Fraser is doing an amazing job in Season 11

On February 17, BD viewers took to Reddit to share their relief that Fraser has stepped up as far as managing the Season 11 team well.

One fan wrote, “It seems Fraser finally grew a backbone? As in he is finally speaking up (I’m talking about the drama between Cat and Barbie) I liked him in previous seasons and I’m excited to see him be more firm and not allow BS.”

Another fan chimed in and wrote, “I’m liking this season’s Fraser. He’s much better [at] being assertive. Last season those stews walked all over him and were awful at their jobs!”

We are only two episodes into the season so hopefully he doesn’t retreat back to his old ways and can instead continue being the fan-favorite.
