Divorcees and single parents are becoming more common on Love is Blind

It’s becoming more and more common for divorcees and single parents to star on Love is Blind. These are the details.

When Love is Blind first premiered on Netflix, most of the contestants were single young adults who didn’t have kids.

The majority of them never mentioned being married in the past, either.

The newest season lands on Netflix on February 14, 2024. Based on the trailer for Love is Blind Season 6, those trends are starting to change.

Divorcees and single parents

In the trailer for Love is Blind Season 6, it’s been revealed that there’s at least one single parent and one divorcee willing to open up about their history in the pods.

Participating in a dating show like Love is Blind requires a lot of candid truthfulness.

It’s a bad idea to lie about your personal history while filming this type of show when so many people can dig up the truth about your past.

Being a divorcee means you’ve been down the aisle once before – and it didn’t work out.

Being a single parent means whoever you connect with while filming Love is Blind will eventually have to vibe with your children.

Producers of Love is Blind are clearly open to inviting more divorcees and single parents to be part of the cast.

This is good news for anyone interested in finding love in this unconventional way, regardless of their past.

This isn’t the first time a reality TV show on Netflix has featured divorcees and single parents searching for a romantic partner.

The first season of Too Hot to Handle included a contestant named Rhonda who told the man she was falling for that she had a son waiting for her at home while filming episodes of the show.

Love is Blind fans will have to wait and see how other cast members react to the divorcees and single parents they meet in the pods.
