Despite the level of chaos that took place in Below Deck Med Season 8, the cast managed to make over six figures.

After tons of drama among the cast and charter guests, the eighth season of Below Deck Mediterranean is now in the past (and fans are extremely happy about that).

While viewers are unaware of what exactly the crew members’ contract promises, we do know that they all take a portion of the tips from the charters in addition to how much they sign on the season for, which Captain Lee Rosbach confirmed.

All of these charters throughout the season add up to a pretty penny. For example, Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht totaled $193,100 in tips. That being said, how does Season 8 of Mediterranean compare?

When adding up all of the tip totals from each charter, including the finale group, the overall season’s earnings equated to $182,000.

That being said, it’s unclear how evenly this tip total is divided among the cast because of the inconsistent crew.

After Ryan Irving left the season because of the now infamous forged document fiasco, and Brooke Boney was only present for two episodes, it wouldn’t be fair for them to split the full cost of the season’s tips.

In fact, only three crew members were on board for the entire season: Chef Jack Luby, Captain Sandy Yawn, and Bosun Luka Brunton. Therefore, they will receive the most out of the tip total compared to the others who were barely a part of Season 8 and didn’t work every charter.

For those patiently waiting for yachting to come back to their screens, Season 11 of Below Deck is set to premiere on February 5.
