Is Vanderpump Rules’ Lala Kent having another baby?

Lala Kent wanted to have a second child to join her daughter Ocean, and through trying treatments to do it herself, she has made it happen.

Lala Kent is a mom to her 2-year-old daughter named Ocean Kent Emmett, but she has always made it clear that she wants to expand her family and give her a sibling.

The Vanderpump Rules star welcomed her first child with her ex-fiance Randall Emmett in March 2021.

Now that Lala has ended her engagement with Randall, she doesn’t want to wait for a man to have another child.

She’s taking matters into her own hands by having another baby using fertility treatments, since she’s currently not in a relationship and doesn’t know when she’ll ever find love again. And those treatments tworked.

Back in March 2024, Lala confirmed with a photo of her daughter Ocean touching her pregnant belly that she is expecting her second child.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Lala revealed that was undergoing intrauterine insemination (IUI) fertility treatment to have a baby on her own using a sperm donor.

“When I had my life go in a very different direction, I knew I wanted more kids. It was such a strange thing that was happening because everyone would tell me, ‘You’re going to find somebody,’ and I got to thinking, ‘Why does my wanting more children need to involve another person?'” Lala explained.

Lala wanted to try the IUI option first in case she had trouble getting pregnant but was considering having children through many different routes.

“I was open to the IUI route, given how much I loved being pregnant and wanted to experience that again. Back then, I figured, ‘Well, if we hit a wall, we can take the IVF route.’ And then if that didn’t work, I’d venture into adoption,” she added.

While she hasn’t revealed what specific route she ended up taking to conceive her second child, fans will be thrilled to see her welcome her second bundle of joy by the end of 2024.
