Love Is Blind Sweden Season 1 cast: Meet the contestants
Here are the hopeful men and women looking for love (and not drama) in Season 1 of Netflix’s Love Is Blind Sweden.
The inaugural Love Is Blind Sweden cast is finally here! The series has the same format as the original American series: a group of men and women date new to reality TV enter the pods (which shield their appearance from each other) and hopefully walk out of them into an engagement.
While Love Is Blind US is very popular, it doesn’t have the best track record for successful couples, which is the entire purpose of the show. Out of the five seasons that have aired so far, only a handful of married couples have stood the test of time, and one is announced to welcome their first child together.
For this adaptation, we were introduced to a new group of singles who entered the pod dating experience to find their ideal match with only an emotional connection.
Will the case of Love Is Blind Sweden be different from its previous adaptations? Here are the 32 eligible bachelors and bachelorettes who are hoping to find the love of their lives on the show.
Adde – 33, VP – Security Company
While he didn’t manage to find love during the pods and had to leave, Adde did end up with a successful Love Is Blind experience after announcing his relationship with co-star Catja in the reunion.
Alexandra – 33, General Secretary
She might not have found a man during the season, but Alexandra did manage to walk away with life-long friends.
Amanda – 34, Economist
Amanda was looking for someone to settle down and start a family with, and she did just that. Not only is she married to Sergio, but they are now parents to their son Ralf.
Andrea – 36, Gym Studio Owner
Despite the fact that she was only featured in the premiere episode of the season, Andrea made it clear on social media that she invested hours and hours into the pods experience. Whatever happened to the footage?
Andreas – 39, Firefighter
Women usually dig a man in uniform, but Andreas didn’t manage to make any strong connections in the pods, making his reality TV debut short and not very memorable.
Jimmy – 34, Self-employed
Speaking of not very memorable, viewers were introduced to Jimmy and saw him leave the show in what felt like seconds.
Catja – 32, HR Specialist
Catja tried to make her relationship with Christofer work but after a while, she had to admit to him that she wasn’t 100% attracted to him.
Christofer – 34, Self-employed
Speaking of Christofer, Catja’s lack of attractiveness towards him was the last straw of their engagement and romance as a whole.
Daniel – 38, Entrepreneur
He was hoping to find something that would take him out of his comfort zone in order for him to become a more outgoing person. While that woman wasn’t in the pods, here’s to hoping he finds his thrilling partner post-show.
Emilia – 34, Business Manager – Telecommunications
Emilia was excited and ready to spend the rest of her life with her fiance Lucas. However, after she said yes at the altar and he said no, their relationship quickly fell by the wayside.
Huda – 30, Assistant Nurse
While she didn’t find her perfect match on the show, Huda made it clear on social media that she was grateful for the “unforgettable” pods experience.
Isabelle – 27, Assistant Nurse, Personal Assistant
You would think that she came on the show ready and eager to find love, but Isabelle’s baggage of former relationships that were ruined by infidelity didn’t allow her to open up to anyone new.
Johan – 34, Salesman
He wasn’t on the show for long but fans will always remember him as the contestant whose biggest relationship turn-off was dating a girl who’s a vegan.
Karolina – 32, Payroll Controller
She had her eyes set on finding a man who would go deeper than surface-level conversations, but she didn’t find anyone in the pods with that same outlook.
Kimia – 34, Cosmetic Nurse
She did see a future with fellow contestant Johan, but after finding out that he was 100% committed to another girl who dumped him right before he proposed and he didn’t communicate this to her, Kimia called the whole thing off.
Krisse-Ly – 30, Interior Stylist, Sales Assistant
Not only did she marry Rasmus, but according to fans, the couple’s dogs also formed a loving relationship from this experience.
Leila – 35, Recruiter
She didn’t find her Mr.Right this time around, but hey, who’s to say Leila won’t end up on another season of LIB Sweden or another dating show in the future?
Lucas – 30, Operative Manager – Energy Production
After leaving Emilia at the altar, Lucas has since rebounded with a new girlfriend who was not on the show with him.
Markus – 29, Training Instruction Consultant
After striking out in the pods, Markus later took to Instagram in May 2024 to reveal that he suffered from a brain-related illness. He hasn’t posted on social media since.
Meira – 30, Economist
She did grow a major social media following from starring on the show, as did most of the other cast members, but fans are convinced that she paid for them.
Milan – 28, Car Salesman
His social media is currently set to private so there’s no telling if he’s found love after not finding romance in the pods.
Mohamed – 32, Personal Trainer
There weren’t many health & wellness-focused contestants this season, so Mohammed quickly discovered that there wasn’t a woman in the pods with the same interests.
Mow – 43, Recruitment Consultant
The oldest cast member by several years, the ladies might have been turned off by his age, as he would have had a 5+ year age gap with most of the eligible bachelorettes.
Nea – 36, Chief Advisor
She came into the show wanting to not be the victim of heartbreak and while she successfully dodged it, Nea didn’t find the right guy for her.
Nina – 31, Destination Manager, Artist
Nina’s journey on the show wasn’t featured, but she later revealed that not only did she find a partner in the pods, but they ended up living together. The reality TV star did confirm that they ended up splitting due to the stress of long distance.
Johannes – 32, Project Manager
Yes, Johannes was Nina’s off-screen partner. Maybe if one moved closer to the other their relationship could work out after all? Only time will tell.
Oskar – 32, Financial Advisor
After getting married to Meira in the finale episode, the pair are still going strong as of June 2024 and hosted an off-screen wedding in order to have a ceremony on their own terms.
Rasmus – 32, Self-employed
Dubbed as the inaugural LIB Sweden villain by viewers, Rasmus still managed to find his now-wife in the pods.
Sami – 29, Social Secretary
Being a part of a fairly confidential profession didn’t make it easy for Sami to seem open and honest in the pods.
Sandra – 36, Yoga Teacher, Artist
She didn’t find a husband or boyfriend on the show, so now Sandra is back to her first love of painting and flaunting her work on social media.
Sergio – 38, Soccer Coach, DJ
He came into the series with a child from a previous relationship, which fans steadfastly defended him about. Despite his villain-esque portrayal, he did find love in Amanda.
Victoria – 36, Resource Educator
She was eager to find a match after being single for over five years, but unfortunately, the pods were not the place to change that.
