Love on the Spectrum U.S. was adapted from its Australian original, but both reality shows have the same concept and focus on exploring the relationships and dating lives of people on the autism spectrum.

The idea of this show came from Cian O’Clery who had previously worked on Employable Me which is a reality program about people with disabilities navigating an employment system that wasn’t made for them.

The very first season of this Emmy Award-winning reality show was aired in 2019 on ABC. Later it was picked up by Netflix and the US adaptation was released May 2022. The show had a mostly positive reception with necessary constructive criticism from the autistic community.

Is there a trailer for Love on the Spectrum US Season 2?

The trailer of Love on the Spectrum US Season 2 was released on YouTube on 20 December. The trailer introduced the diverse cast to the audience and gave a glimpse of what they can expect from the upcoming season.

The trailer also revealed to the fans that the Season 1 participant, James, would be making a comeback this season. The Guardian reviewed the dating show and described it as “at its best, this show is a compassionate, human celebration of difference, and of love.”
