RHOBH fans blame producers for misrepresenting Annemarie on the show
BravoAnnemarie Wiley is a new cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but fans believe she’s being misrepresented by producers.
Annemarie Wiley joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 and caused a lot of drama.
She questioned Sutton Stracke for having an esophagus disorder, and used her medical profession as an excuse to diagnose her.
The RHOBH star also revealed that Crystal Kung Minkoff accused the women of being “uneducated,” which put her in hot water with the cast.
However, Annemarie redeemed herself when she comforted Crystal during her medical emergency.
Fans wish Annemarie’s adoption story was shown on RHOBH
On the RHOBH After Show, Annemarie shared that she was adopted and her birth mother gave her up when she was two weeks old. RHOBH fans felt sorry for her on X, and showed support after hearing her story.
“Annemarie didn’t win any viewers hearts but maybe if she told this story instead of focusing on Sutton‘s esophagus I think people would have a lot more empathy for her and she could even land a spot for next season with that story. I do feel bad, it’s a sad story,” one fan wrote.
“Knowing there are stories like this in this group of women, and the producers still focus on a boring esophagus story and Garcelle‘s son’s love life, show it’s the producers who are at fault for this lackluster season,” another fan replied.
“Honestly THIS is the information I wish was on the show versus stupid esophogate. I truly for the first time felt an interest in getting to know her,” a different person added.
While fans didn’t warm up to Annemarie when she first appeared on RHOBH, her adoption story made them feel sympathy for her.
Since she supposedly didn’t get a lot of screen time this season due to her husband Marcellus Wiley’s alleged sexual assault incident, it was difficult for fans to get used to seeing her with the group.
If Annemarie returns for RHOBH Season 14, she might be able to open up more about her personal life.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.
