RHOBH’s Dorit slammed for “problematic” Season 13 reunion look
BravoDorit Kemsley’s dress for the RHOBH Season 13 reunion paid tribute to the cast trip to Spain, but fans thought the look was offensive.
Dorit Kemsley had a rough time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, and wasn’t a fan-favorite cast member.
She was called out for her racist comments toward Garcelle Beauvais and Crystal Kung Minkoff, and viewers want her to be fired from RHOBH.
On the show, Dorit told Garcelle she felt “attacked” by her when she revealed a secret about Sutton Stracke making out with her driver.
The RHOBH star also accused Crystal of being a “child bride” for marrying her husband at a young age, which didn’t sit well with her.
RHOBH fans accuse Dorit of “cultural appropriation”
The RHOBH Season 13 reunion looks were posted recently, and Dorit wore a long, red Schiaparelli dress to the annual sitdown.
On X, a fan slammed the reunion dress and wrote, “Dorit cosplaying as a Flamenco Dancer at a reunion from a season where she’s made several problematic comments is the most Dorit thing. She truly lives in a bubble.”
Another fan agreed and said, “Dorit either doesn’t get it, or doesn’t want to get it. One has to wonder if it’s purposeful at this point. The use of another culture’s traditional attire for one’s own aesthetic statement and/or gain is cultural appropriation Dorit. It’s not cultural appreciation.”
“I really don’t think it started as purposeful just ignorant of her behavior. She should think about these things every day as she dresses. She clearly doesn’t think that way,” a third fan chimed in.
Since Dorit was under fire for her offensive behavior this season, fans aren’t surprised that she chose this look.
Dorit was likely in the hot seat at the RHOBH Season 13 reunion for the remarks she made at Garcelle and Crystal.
Whether the women also discuss her problematic outfit choice remains to be seen, but she definitely didn’t leave the reunion without being questioned by the cast.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.
