RuPaul’s Drag Race fans divided over one Season 16 contestant

When it comes to RuPaul’s Drag Race, there is always a range of personalities among the cast.
You’re going to have some sweet queens who help the other contestants sew and answer questions, and you’re going to have some messy queens who don’t hesitate to stir the pot.
Speaking of pot-stirrers, one star of Season 16 who is particularly standing out is Plane Jane.
Making her reality TV debut in the second half of the premiere, she won the lip-sync challenge against Geneva Karr, showing the other contestants that she is here to win.
The only trait about her is that in the span of just one episode, she managed to shade almost every other queen. And while some viewers are living for her messy personality, others already can’t stand it.
Do RuPaul’s Drag Race fans like Plane Jane?
On January 12, RDR viewers took to Reddit to discuss part two of the season’s premiere, and couldn’t come to a agreement on whether or not they love or hate Plane Jane.
One fan wrote, “I’m sorry Plane was trying way too hard. All “b**chiness” aside, her talent and runway both felt super inauthentic and like weird vague attempts to knockoff Jimbo or something.”
Another fan countered and wrote, “Actually really like Jane, she talks big but it’s tongue in cheek enough to be enjoyable – and she actually delivered as well – I’m hoping she could be a lot of fun this season.”
Fans have only seen the premiere so hopefully as time goes on, Plane Jane will be able to win the viewers over, and maybe even the crown while she’s at it.
