Carl Radke revealed his thoughts on marriage now that he broke off his engagement with Lindsay Hubbard, and Summer House fans criticized his comments.

Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard ended their engagement in September, and it will play out on Summer House Season 8.

To celebrate his first Valentine’s Day since splitting with Lindsay, Carl appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show with his co-star Kyle Cooke to surprise a group of fans who wanted to draw them.

When Drew asked if Carl if he prefers to be single or in a relationship, he said he’s learning how to be single and that it’s the best thing for him. However, he would like to get married and have a family at some point.

Carl added that he’s trying to heal and take care of himself and focus on his career, family, and friendship with Kyle.

Summer House fans slam Carl for talking about breakup

On Instagram, Summer House fans slammed Carl’s comments about marriage after breaking up with Lindsay.

“This is repulsive. A guy that repeatedly cheated on his now wife and another who got engaged on a show to then breakup up with her and talk crap about her???” one fan commented, throwing shade at both Carl and Kyle.

“I don’t believe any of them. They say what they think you want to hear,” another person chimed in.

“Bravo publicists were like ‘what can we do to make women like Carl,'” a third person added.

Since Carl was the one who decided to break up with Lindsay, fans felt that going on a talk show to discuss relationships wasn’t a good look for him.

Even though Carl mentioned that he wanted to get married and start a family, it doesn’t make any sense to viewers since he was close to having a wedding and called it off.

As Lindsay and Carl’s breakup storyline unfolds on Summer House, hopefully Carl won’t continue to throw his ex under the bus.

Summer House Season 8 premieres Thursday, February 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.
