The Traitors fans pick the worst Traitors from the entire series

The internet buzzed with excitement as The Traitors was renewed for another season. Fans gathered on Reddit to pick out contestants who they thought were the worst Traitors from the series.

New seasons of The Traitors UK and US aired in the first month of 2024. BBC’s The Traitors Series 2 was the first to air on January 3, followed by Bravo’s The Traitors Season 2 on January 12.

All adaptations follow a similar pattern, where 22 contestants are placed in Ardross Castle to play a game of trust and treachery. The players are divided into two groups: The ‘Faithful’ and the ‘Traitors,’ both aiming to eliminate the other and win up to £120,000.

Through the years, many contestants have gotten to test out their betrayal skills by being a Traitor – although not many succeeded in being worthy of the title. Here are the contestants the fans think played the worst Traitors.

The Traitors US Season 1 Christian is on the list

A Redditor started a discussion thread, asking “Who are the worst traitors on any series?” The commenter then proceeded to answer their own question and said, “And why is it NZ season 1? Spoiler: Two Traitors getting voted out in the first 4 episodes? Shame.”

Another viewer brought up The Traitors US contestant Christian de la Torre, who was banished during episode 10 of Season 1. Fans pointed out that he was too overconfident, saying this trait became his downfall.

Another name on the list was the 45-year-old events coordinator, Ash, from The Traitors UK Series 2, who got herself banished in episode 4. The Traitors viewers thought that Ash’s gameplay was dreadful.

One fan commented: “What annoyed me about her was whenever she was challenged, she kept saying, ‘I am going to step up my game.’ She went out with a whimper. Yes, the worst ever Traitor.”

A Redditor also brought up the Denmark adaptation and said, “Two Traitors in 4 episodes is nothing, try two traitors in 2 episodes (Denmark). For the worst Traitors, I’d consider those who broke their oath, not those that simply got caught early or made a mistake, so those who got disqualified for saying that they were a Traitor or who outed their whole team, there were a few like this.”
