The Traitors US viewers blame contestant for their own downfall

The former Big Brother contestant, Janelle Pierzina, was eliminated from The Traitors during episode 5, and fans said her downfall was her own fault. Here is everything you need to know.

The Traitors US Season 2 received an amazing reception during its premiere and within five episodes the show witnessed a jaw-dropping 75% increase in its viewership.

The psychologically thrilling game show had the audience invested in the 22 players on their screens and many of them constantly discussed the players’ fate online.

During the elimination of the Big Brother contestant, Janelle, fans expressed on Reddit how they expected her elimination to happen. Janelle was banished from the castle after a fiery round-table discussion among The Traitors contestants during episode 5 titled ‘A Killer Move’.

The Traitors audience thinks Janelle was hasty

Janelle’s assertive personality naturally put her in the position of an opinion leader this season of The Traitors. Before episode 5, the reality star was seen leading all the contestants and influencing banishments during the round-table discussions.

Janelle’s accusations were the cause of The Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa being banished during episode 4. However, when Larsa was revealed as a Faithful, the players were forced to rethink their alliances.

In the end, Janelle’s outspoken and loud personality made her a target with both the Faithfuls and the Traitors. During episode 5, Janelle openly accused people who she thought were traitors and tried to make everyone vote Dan off the game show.

A viewer wrote, “So bad – I was yelllllinnnng. I love Janelle but that was a bad move.”

Yet another chimed in and said, “I love Janelle, but her downfall is usually herself getting in her own way.”

Things got more heated as she furiously hurled accusations at Sandra and C.T. which made the two players withdraw and vote against her.

A viewer criticized Janelle’s move and said, “That was her major mistake. She should’ve kept laser-focused on Dan and not named anyone else.”

Another person added, “Yup, I think CT may have gone [for] Dan, but after hearing his name… nope.”
