This is the best episode of Bar Rescue, according to fans
ParamountBar Rescue served its viewers with a unique concept in the culinary reality TV world and had several iconic episodes over the years. But which episode do the fans think was the best?
Bar Rescue first premiered on Paramount network in 2011, and gave its fans eight incredible seasons over the ensuing decade.
The reality show has a similar concept to Kitchen Nightmares – but instead of fixing restaurants, the host, Jon Taffer, helps to rescue failing pubs.
Currently, the show stands at a whopping 244 episodes, each with its own iconic moments. But according to fans on Reddit, Season 2 Episode 1 of Bar Rescue was absolutely outrageous.
Fans think Bar Rescue Season 2 Episode 1 was hilarious
The premiere episode of Season 2 was titled, ‘Yo-Ho-Ho and a Bottle of Dumb,’ and featured a Pirate-themed bar named Piratz Tavern in Silver Spring, Maryland.
The star of the show, Jon, found Piratz Tavern in the worst possible condition. The bar owner, Tracey, was $900,000 in debt and was forced to live in her parents’ basement with her husband and teenage daughter.
Her staff was untrained and unprofessional, serving the guests frozen, half-cooked food with subpar drinks.
Jon decided that the bar needed a entire concept revamp, considering how it did not go along with what worked in Silver Spring. Piratz Tavern was remodeled into a corporate-themed bar, as there was a market for that in the neighborhood.
However, Tracy and her staff refused the change of theme and showed up at their rescued bar as pirates to scare off corporate customers. The viewers found that particular plan outrageously hilarious.
